We install two lock boxes for each house:
A small lock box with one house key is placed at the front door for showing the property.
A large lock box is installed on the meter pipe at the side of the house. It contains the remaining keys and remote controls for future tenants.
Key Lock Installation Instructions (Very Important):
Set up each lock box with a different access code.
Use the key lock’s official instructions to set and confirm the codes carefully.
Protect the lock boxes from water damage by installing them upside down if possible, or by wrapping them with a plastic bag.
If a remote control is too large to fit in the lock box, it can be placed inside a kitchen cabinet.
After tenants move in, the lock box may remain in place with a backup key for emergency access.
